What a rewarding season at Enlightened Farm! We grew nearly 2,000 pounds of vegetables and many opportunities to share the love. Our harvest included tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, squash, potatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, beets, carrots, and leafy greens. We also grew fragrant herbs like basil, rosemary, oregano, parsley, cilantro, dill, sage, and thyme, with microgreens and farm-fresh eggs rounding out our offerings.
Farming Fields
From friendly faces at farmers markets in Ventnor, Margate, and AtlantiCare to fresh ingredients in our kitchens and donations to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, this season was about growing and sharing together. We also delivered 27 produce boxes across nine Enlightened sober-living homes, bringing our produce full circle from being grown by our residents to feeding our residents. Thank you to our hardworking farm team, residents, volunteers, market shoppers, and community partners for being part of it all!
